The Queen of Wands Reversed: Reclaiming Your Power

The Queen of Wands, when she’s upright, radiates confidence and self-assuredness. She is a woman who knows herself, her desires, and is not afraid to pursue them. She is charismatic, inspiring, a natural leader, and the life of the party.

But she’s reversed, so now what?

The reversed Queen of Wands often indicates someone who is struggling with self-esteem and confidence. She may feel inadequate, unsure of her abilities, and constantly seeking validation from others. This self-consciousness can show up in a lot of ways, including:

  • Overcompensation: She may come across as arrogant or boastful, because she’s trying to prove her worth not just to herself, but to others, too
  • Fear of Rejection: She may avoid taking risks or pursuing her dreams out of fear of failure or rejection.
  • Promiscuity: Upright, the queen can be a bit of a flirt, but reversed that can devolve into promiscuity, hoping to find the love and validation she doesn’t have within herself.

Understanding the Root Causes

There are a lot of reasons that we may have taken on the energy of the reversed Queen.
  • Past traumas or negative experiences: Childhood wounds, relationship failures, or career setbacks can mess up self-confidence.
  • Unhealthy comparisons: Comparing yourself to others can make you feel inadequate.
  • Fear of vulnerability: Being scared to put yourself out there, can put a damper on your self-confidence.

Here are a few things you can do:

  • Be kind to yourself: Don't beat yourself up for feeling this way. It's okay to have ups and downs.
  • Challenge negative thoughts: When those negative thoughts creep in, challenge them. Look for evidence that you might be wrong.
  • Practice self-care: Take care of your mind, body, and soul. Do things that make you happy and relaxed.
  • Set boundaries: Don't let others take advantage of you. Learn to say no and protect your energy.
  • Seek support: Talk to friends, family, or a therapist. Sometimes, talking things out can really help.
  • Celebrate your wins: No matter how small, celebrate your achievements. It's important to recognize your progress.
  • Step outside your comfort zone: Challenge yourself to try new things. It can help boost your confidence.

And here's a little trick: Print out an image of the Queen of Wands in her upright position and put it somewhere you'll see it every day. This can serve as a reminder of the strong, confident woman you want to be.
Remember, everyone goes through tough times. But with a little self-compassion and effort, you can reclaim that inner Queen.

And, boy, will it be worth it!
